Jessica Mann
I am an artist with interest in both urban and natural landscapes as well as the human figure. As a keen sailor, I particularly love painting boats and seascapes.

My favoured monochrome mediums are charcoal, pencil and conte as well as ink sketching. In colour I love to work in acrylics and oils, pastels (both chalk and oil) as well as watercolours. I enjoy mixing media and experimenting with new techniques to create bold, expressive paintings.

Living in rural Hampshire with my husband, we also spend time on our sailing boat in South Devon, where I like to capture the beauty of the South Hams coast and any kind of boat; small or large, sailing, motor or rowing. Whenever we travel on holiday, my sketchbook and paintbox comes with me.

I have studied art at West Dean College and at various workshops and classes run by professional artists. I'm continuously learning from observing, listening, experimenting and practicing.

A member of the Farnham (exhibiting member) and Odiham Art Societies, I have exhibited work in Berkshire and Hampshire galleries.
